Reading, 8 p.m.: IFOA Noir with Shaughnessy Bishop-Stall reading from his debut novel, Ghosted; Elena Forbes reading from the third installment of the Mark Tartaglia mysteries, Evil in Return; Len Gasparini, winner of the 2010 NOW Open Poetry Stage; and, Edgar Award-winning author Thomas Perry reading from his latest novel, Strip. The Walrus's (and author in her own right) Stacey May Fowles hosts.
Not in Toronto? This year, IFOA travels to cities throughout Ontario, such as Burlington where Giles Blunt ( Crime Machine), Michael Koryta ( So Cold the River) and Chevy Stevens ( Still Missing) participate in an IFOA Noir roundtable, 7 p.m. at Indigo Books and Music (1250 Brant St. in Burlington.
