Don't expect Charles Bernstein to show up for the Vancouver Poetry Slam's 2010 kickoff at the Café Deux Soleils tonight. Serious students will want to wait till Friday, when the celebrated U.S. avant-gardist, author of 40 books including the upcoming All the Whiskey in Heaven, appears at the W2 Perel Gallery, 112 West Hastings.
