Area of Expertise

Feature editing, travel editing

Catherine Dawson March has been editing and writing travel stories at The Globe and Mail since 2010.

As a travel editor, she looks at what a destination is doing differently and finds writers to share those stories with Globe readers. When not taking off to discover somewhere new, she assigns and refines travel pieces that uncover fantastic places to stay, reveals lesser-known corners of the world for readers to consider and dives deep into what makes a destination tick. Travel isn’t just a job for Catherine, it’s a passion.

Why did you become a journalist?
