David A. Robertson

David A. Robertson is a parenting columnist for The Globe. He is a Canadian author, editor, and columnist with expertise in Indigenous storytelling, literacy, education, and community-centred leadership.
David is the editorial director of Swift Water Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House Canada, and the author of numerous acclaimed books for young readers and adults, including The Theory of Crows, The Misewa Saga, and When We Were Alone. His writing frequently explores identity, intergenerational learning, and what it means to live a good life.
