Saira Peesker

Saira Peesker has been writing for The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business section since 2017, covering personal finance, entrepreneurship, the future of work and other topics. She has written about financial anxiety, hurdles for trans workers and the gender pay gap, and currently writes The Paycheque Project series, speaking to Canadian millennials and members of Gen Z about their financial struggles and goals.
She also covers local news for CBC Hamilton, and has previously written for Chatelaine, CTVNews.ca, The Hamilton Spectator and NOW Magazine.
