The Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company is pleased to announce that its members have elected Danielle Harrison to its Board of Directors.
A Fellow of both the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Casualty Actuarial Society, Danielle brings extensive experience in risk management, strategic transformation, and governance. She most recently served as a Managing Director on the Global Leadership Team at CPP Investments and previously held senior roles at The Co-operators Group and RBC. Danielle has received an Award of Distinction from the Canadian Institute of Actuaries for her volunteer contributions. She currently serves on the boards of the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS) and the Actuarial Foundation of Canada.
Danielle has spent more than 30 years in Canada’s financial services sector and hold the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
The appointment is effective May 28, 2026. We extend a warm welcome to Danielle and thank our entire Board of Directors for their commitment to Wawanesa.
