GFL Environmental Inc. GFL-T has raised its quarterly dividend to shareholders by 10 per cent.

The company says it will pay a quarterly dividend of 1.69 US cents per share.

The payment to holders of the company’s subordinate voting and multiple voting shares is up from 1.54 US cents per share.

The new dividend will be paid on April 30 to shareholders of record at the close of business on April 13.

GFL provides solid waste management services across Canada and in 18 U.S. states.

Shares in the company closed up $2.40 at $60.43 on the Toronto Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
