Kenneth Law has pleaded guilty in a Toronto-area court Friday to charges that he operated a business shipping toxic substances to people in Ontario, aiding in multiple suicide deaths.
“I plead guilty,” Mr. Law said several times to Ontario Superior Court Justice Michelle Fuerst in Newmarket.
Mr. Law, 60, made his remarks as a court clerk started to read charges he sold deadly products to 14 people, including two minors, who died in Ontario between 2021 and 2023. Each victim was named by the court.
This is the first time Mr. Law, who is accused of selling lethal poisons globally to vulnerable young people seeking suicide, has admitted to criminal wrongdoing.
