The new video sections on The Globe and Mail now include a black background to help lessen eye strain. The Globe and Mail
We've launched a new experience for video on globeandmail.com – a place where you can easily browse, view and share our videos.
The new video hub groups our videos together so you can navigate easily through our archive. We hope the simplified navigation will help you find some of your favourite videos, including Chef Basics, Carrick Talks Money, Nik on the Numbers and Peter Cheney's Drive.
We've also introduced an Editor's Picks section where we will curate and collect the very best content of the day. There's also a Globe Shows section where you can find some of our regular programs.
We changed the background from white to black, and made the player slightly larger to improve the viewing experience and reduce eye strain.
While it's no longer possible to post comments on videos, they're now easier to share and comment about on your own social networks.
And for the first time, you have the ability to grab a video's embed code to post on sites like Tumblr.
This is just the beginning of many more exciting developments happening with Globe Video. We look forward to your thoughts and feedback (newsroom@globeandmail.com). Happy viewing.
