Fertility, perimenopause and menopause are no longer the taboo topics they once were. These stages – which can last years of a woman’s life – are gaining more attention in the workplace, society, and health care. Still, much work remains to be done to help ensure women across demographics have access to the care and supports they need to navigate these life stages.

On October 24, 2025, The Globe and Mail hosted an event focused on women’s health, with a spotlight on fertility, postnatal care, and menopause. A wide variety of esteemed experts shared professional and personal insights, identified gaps in care, and discussed key strategies to support women’s health and wellbeing through these life stages.
