A 30-year-old man has been charged with impaired driving causing death and bodily harm in a collision between a truck and a dirt bike near Maskwacis, Alta.
RCMP say an 18-year-old male passenger on the bike was deceased at the scene when they arrived early Sunday morning.
A 19-year-old woman who was driving the bike was taken to an Edmonton hospital in critical condition.
Chadwick Buffalo of Samson First Nation has also been charged with assault and refusing to provide a breath sample.
He was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in Wetaskiwin provincial court on Sept. 1.
