The remains of a Montreal man have been found in Banff National Park 18 months after he was reported missing.
The body of Michael Morrissette was found by a search team that had been looking for another missing person in a remote mountain range.
Alberta RCMP say the remains had been there for a considerable amount of time.
Morrissette, who was 21, was reported missing in March of 2013.
Investigators have notified his next of kin.
A cause of death will be determined by the Calgary medical examiner's office.
