A boil-water order for the Village of Carmangay in southern Alberta has been lifted for most of the community.

The province issued the order on Friday over concerns the water could be contaminated after a main water line break.

The line has been flushed and things are mostly back to normal.

But a new water leak has emerged on the south end of the village, which is affecting the school and a handful of residents.

Carmangay is about 35 minutes north of Lethbridge.
