Calgary firefighters had to smash a car window to rescue two children left inside with the windows rolled up.
The small kids were found in the car at a parking lot at Chinook Centre Mall on Thursday night.
EMS treated the children and say they were OK.
Temperatures soared to 28 C on Thursday, prompting officials to yet again warn parents about the dangers of leaving children in hot cars.
On Tuesday, Edmonton police were called to a mall after a one-year-old boy had been left for an hour in a vehicle that was locked and running.
The toddler was unharmed and his mother was charged her with causing a child to be in need of intervention.
