Police have charged a man with sexually assaulting a young girl in an Edmonton pet store.
Officers say the five-year-old was briefly away from her mother while they were shopping in the business last weekend.
They say a stranger approached the child and led her to a washroom, where he sexually assaulted her.
Police located a suspect a short distance away.
Adrian Ballantyne, who is 27, also faces charges of sexual interference and breach of probation.
