A high school in a southern Alberta town was locked down after a report about someone wearing camouflage and carrying a gun.
RCMP say it happened Friday evening in Magrath when the school was open for a sports event.
They say the report claimed the person was walking towards the school with what appeared to be a long gun.
Mounties say it turned out to be a hunter who walked past the building on his way home.
Police are thanking everyone for their patience during the incident.
