Winnipeg's Jennifer Jones defeated Edmonton's Val Sweeting on Sunday in the women's final of the Pinty's all-star curling skins game.

It all came down to the final stone in the eighth end, with Jones picking up the whopping $37,000 skin to secure the victory.

Jones' rink of Kaitlyn Lawes, Jill Officer, and Dawn McEwen, took a total of $40,000 in the final. Combined with their $14,000 earnings from Saturday's semifinal, Jones pocketed $54,000 over the weekend-long tournament.

Sweeting earned a total of $31,500 in prize money.

On the men's side, Brad Jacobs defeated Brad Gushue to win the skins game for the second year in a row.

An intense seventh end, which resulted in a carry-over, put $47,000 on the line in the eighth end — and it was Jacobs who secured the skin.

Jacobs and his rink earned $54,000 for the victory, in addition to the $17,000 won in Saturday's semi. The Northern Ontario team — which features Ryan Fry, E.J. Harnden, and Ryan Harnden — will go home with a total of $71,000.

Gushue will take home $22,000 in prize money after reaching the finals.
