A man has been charged with five sexual assaults on women in southwest Edmonton.
Edmonton police say that between January 2012 and October 2014, they received several reports of women being attacked, primarily in the Terwilliger area.
On Dec. 7, 2014, police responded to a break and enter and sexual assault and a man was arrested and charged.
He then became a person of interest in the Terwilliger attacks.
Detective Andrew Larson says the cases could lead to other files.
Mark Moriarty, who is 31, is facing five charges including assault and sexual assault as well as robbery.
