Mounties in southern Alberta are looking for a man who was seen shooting a dog with a handgun after driving over the animal while exercising it.
RCMP say they want to question the man spotted on Monday afternoon just south of Coaldale.
They say he was letting the leashed dog run alongside a car.
It's believed to be an older-model silver Chrysler 300 with black-tinted windows and cargo mesh separating the back seats from the front.
Police did not get a licence plate to aid them in their search.
