A man who was shot at a Calgary strip mall has died.
Police say it happened Wednesday morning at Willow Park Centre at 103 Avenue and Bonaventure Dr. S.E.
Duty Insp. Michael Watterston said no one in custody or there are no persons of interest.
He said the shooting appears to have been targeted.
Homicide detectives are going over CCTV footage and they have already spoken to over a dozen witnesses.
Watterston said there isn't a description of a suspect and it's not clear what the victim was doing at the time.
"We'll try to establish the behaviours of the individuals involved, what the plans for the day were, what they were up to," he said, adding a motive is also unclear.
Officers said at least two shots were fired in the area.
The nearby Willow Park Elementary School was locked down as a precaution.
