The Mounties have called in their major crimes unit to investigate the discovery of a girl's remains in west-central Alberta.
RCMP say officers found the remains in a vehicle on a rural road near Sundre on Tuesday.
They say a woman is in custody, but there's no word on charges.
Police say they'll be able to release more details once an autopsy is completed.
