RCMP in High Level, Alta., are investigating after getting reports of gunshots being fired in a house which then caught fire.
When officers arrived on scene, the house was empty but smoke was coming out of it.
RCMP also say there have been no reports of injuries, but the cause of the fire is considered suspicious.
The High Level fire department was able to contain the fire and stop it from damaging neighbouring residences.
