Ryan Benesch scored five goals and three assists to lead the Colorado Mammoth over the Calgary Roughnecks 11-7 on Friday night in National Lacrosse League action.

Eli McLaughlin struck twice with Stephen Keogh, Brad Self, Jordan Gilles and Jacob Ruest rounding out the attack for Colorado (3-0).

Wesley Berg and Riley Loewen each had a pair of goals for the Roughnecks (1-2). Holden Cattoni, Dane Dobbie and Ryan Martel also chipped in.

Dillon Ward made 40 saves for the win in net as Frank Scigliano stopped 42-of-52 shots in defeat.

The Mammoth were 5 for 7 on the power play and Calgary converted three times on five opportunities.
