A second suspect in a death that followed the discovery of an unconscious man in Alberta last summer been arrested.

RCMP say Jesse Prestly Laboucan of Atikameg, Alta., turned himself in to police on Saturday in High Level.

Ryan Joseph Ellefson, 20, of High Prairie was found outside a store in the community in July and died later in hospital.

An autopsy determined his death was a homicide.

Dakota Anderson, 20, was charged last week with second-degree murder in the case.

Anderson — a resident of Gift Lake, Alta. — is to appear in court on Monday in High Prairie.
