Tanner Jeannot scored 3:19 into overtime as the Moose Jaw Warriors hung on to beat the Edmonton Oil Kings 5-4 on Monday in Western Hockey League action.

Brett Howden had a pair of goals while Ryan Bowen and Noah Gregor also scored for the Warriors (6-2-2), who blew a two-goal lead in the final minutes of regulation.

The Oil Kings (3-5-2) trailed 4-2 late in the game before David Koch and Trey Fix-Wolansky forced extra time. Lane Bauer and Kobe Mohr also found the back of the net for Edmonton, which is on a three-game slide.

Zach Sawchenko made 34 saves for the win as Liam Hughes kicked out 25-of-30 shots in a losing cause.

Moose Jaw went 1 for 6 on the power play while the Oil Kings failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.
