Halifax police are warning the public about potentially dangerous drugs that were apparently stolen from a hospital facility earlier this week.

Police say the drugs were taken from Dickson Building on Wednesday.

They say the Nova Scotia Health Authority told investigators an emergency drug box containing a variety of cardiac drugs is now missing.

Police say many of the drugs can be dangerous unless they are taken under the supervision of a physician.
