Seven recounts have confirmed the voting results on election night in New Brunswick, nearly two weeks after the polls closed.

Elections New Brunswick says judges from the Court of Queen's Bench have confirmed the wins by Liberal candidates in the ridings of Carleton-Victoria, Shippagan-Lamèque-Miscou, Saint John Harbour, Saint John East, Charlotte-Campobello and Fredericton North.

The Progressive Conservatives were confirmed as winning the riding of Fredericton-Grand Lake.

Questions were raised about the accuracy of the electronic tabulation system after a software glitch delayed the posting of election results by about two hours on election night on Sept. 22.

The Progressive Conservatives sought six of the recounts while the People's Alliance of New Brunswick asked for one.
