A man accused of leaving a sawed-off shotgun on a Halifax bus is due back in court next week after making a brief appearance Thursday.
Twenty-five-year-old Justin Crathorne (CRAY-thorne) was remanded into custody after his case was set over until next Thursday.
At that point he could enter a plea on multiple charges, including possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon.
Police arrested Crathorne on Oct. 23 after a bus driver reported finding a gun on his bus in the city's downtown core.
The arrest came as police were searching the same area for someone reportedly carrying what appeared to be a rifle wrapped in black fabric.
Police later said the incidents were unrelated.
