Police in Halifax have charged a 42-year-old man after he allegedly broke into a woman's home while she slept.
Police say they were called to the home on Albro Lake Road in Dartmouth around 8 a.m. Saturday.
They say the man was arrested shortly after he allegedly forced his way into the residence.
The woman was not injured.
The accused is due in court on Monday to face a charge of break and enter.
