The union representing provincial correctional officers in New Brunswick has signed a tentative labour contract with the province.
Details on the deal between CUPE local 1251 and the province will remain confidential until a vote is held.
The union represents more than 500 provincial correctional officers, human services counsellors and custodians.
Union members have been without an agreement for more than three years.
The union was looking for wage parity with correctional officers in other Atlantic provinces.
