RCMP in Moncton, N.B., say they have arrested a suspect in connection with an armed robbery in the city.

The robbery occurred Monday at the Caisse Populaire on Churchill Street.

Police say a 53-year-old man was arrested without incident in Riverview on Wednesday.

The man was taken into custody and police say he will face charges.

Police say the investigation is continuing.
