A 59-year-old Nova Scotia man is facing five charges of attempted murder after someone fired shots at a vehicle carrying five people near Yarmouth on the weekend.
The Mounties say no one was injured.
The alleged shooting happened Sunday around 1 a.m. near Springhaven, a 20-minute drive east of Yarmouth.
The man from Springhaven has also been charged with careless use of a firearm and four counts of unsafe storage of a firearm.
Meanwhile, a 56-year-old woman from Springhaven was arrested and released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
