Police in Nova Scotia are investigating after someone made off with hundreds of pairs of leggings.
Truro police say someone stole roughly 400 pairs of leggings from a parked truck at the Truro Mall on Wednesday.
Investigators say the passenger window of the truck was smashed sometime between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.
The collection of leggings that someone ran off with is worth more than $5,000, police said.
Insp. Rob Hearn described the theft as a "crime of opportunity."
"If they see something in a vehicle and they believe it has value and they have the opportunity to take it, they will make that attempt," said Hearn.
