Nova Scotia RCMP say a man is to appear in court next week to face several charges in connection with some break and enters in Hants County.

Police say they began an investigation following reports of break-ins at garages in the Hantsport and Mount Denson area last week.

A 26-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested earlier this week at their homes in the Windsor area.

The Mounties say searches recovered a quantity of tools and one firearm.

William Brian Farrow of Windsor faces various charges including nine counts of break, enter and theft and is to appear in a Windsor court on Monday.

The 17-year-old faces a charge of possession of stolen property and is to appear in Windsor youth court at a later date.
