Police say an autopsy has not been able to determine the cause of death of a 64-year-old man who was found in a Halifax home on Sunday.

But their investigation so far has led them to believe the death is not suspicious.

Police had previously said they were treating the death as suspicious in nature.

Halifax Regional Police were called to a house on Pinecrest Drive at 10:50 a.m. and say the man was dead when they arrived.

Police are continuing their investigation and they say the medical examiner's office will conduct further tests.
