Police say a teenager in the eastern Newfoundland community of Paradise was seriously injured when he was beaten with a baseball bat.
They say the 15-year old boy was attacked Saturday night (on Topsail Road) and remains in hospital in serious condition.
Investigators with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary's major crimes unit say they know the assailant is a young person, but have yet to make an arrest.
They're asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
