An OnStar vehicle navigation system helped the RCMP track down a stolen municipal vehicle in Newfoundland and Labrador on Tuesday.
Police say a young man broke into the Burin municipal building and the local fire hall and stole food and money.
Investigators say the suspect then drove away in the town's new pickup truck.
Police say they tracked the vehicle using its OnStar service and located the suspect on Route 210 near Long Pond.
The 17-year-old man was arrested without incident.
