Police say a 67-year-old woman has died after a two-vehicle collision in Prince Edward Island.

RCMP say the crash happened around 11:30 a.m. Friday at an intersection in Central Bedeque.

They say a woman from Lady Fane was taken to hospital, but later died.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 24-year-old man, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say a collision analyst is investigating.
