Canada Jetlines has signed a deal to acquire up to 21 Boeing 737 Max aircraft with delivery starting in 2021.

The company hopes to launch a new discount airline next year.

The deal includes five firm orders and purchase rights for an additional 16 aircraft and some conversion to the 737-8 Max aircraft.
