Mounties in the Okanagan region of B.C. are warning the public about a 61-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting children.

RCMP say David McHale of Peachland is facing numerous sexual assault charges involving offences against kids.

Investigators are concerned that there may be more victims and they're asking anyone who has had contact with McHale to call police.

The charges stem from a report that Mounties in Kelowna received last month about a sexual assault involving multiple child victims and a known suspect.

McHale remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in provincial court in Kelowna on April 9.
