Prince George RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service are investigating the death of a three-year-old child.
Mounties say the child was seriously injured by a vehicle in a residential neighbourhood on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services responded to the area (near Massey Boulevard and Ospika Boulevard) just before 12:30 p.m.
The child was transported to hospital but died as a result of injuries from the collision.
Officers say the investigation is in its early stages.
