Aeroplan (TSX:AIM). Consumer rewards programs. Down one cent, or 0.05 per cent, to $18.67 on 427,253 shares. The company says its members can now start earning and redeeming points for travel with Air India. The move will give Aeroplan members a wider choice on routes connecting North America, Europe, Asia and Australia via India.
Talisman Energy Inc. (TSX:TLM). Oil and gas. Down 11 cents, or 1.02 per cent, to $10.65 on 2.7 million shares. The company says a wildfire burning in northeastern B.C. has forced the evacuation of its Ojay gas plant and shut in about 2,000 to 3,000 barrels per day of production. Spokesman Brent Anderson says authorities issued an evacuation order on Wednesday and that relatively few workers are affected.
