The president of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce is stepping down after 17 years at the job.

David Angus says he will leave the post at the end of July to return to private business.

Executive vice-president Loren Remillard will be taking over.

The chamber credits Angus with driving up membership to its highest level in the organization's history. (CJOB)
