A man is facing child pornography charges after a search of his computer allegedly turned up hundreds of illegal photos.
In October 2015, the Canadian Centre for Child Protection started investigating an IP address in Winnipeg where images of child sexual abuse had been uploaded.
Winnipeg police were alerted and eventually located and seized the computer.
On Oct. 6 this year, police used a search warrant and obtained hundreds of images of young girls aged two to 13-years-old.
Earlier this week, Jospeh Higgins, 31, was charged with several child porn offences.
