Michael Hutchinson made 36 saves as the Manitoba Moose downed the San Antonio Rampage 3-1 on Friday in American Hockey League action.
Mason Appleton scored his second goal of the night into an empty net to secure Manitoba's sixth straight win while extending its franchise-best point streak to 16 games (15-0-1).
Brendan Lemieux also found the back of the net for the Moose (23-5-3), with Jack Roslovic chipping in with two assists.
Chris Butler was the lone scorer for the Rampage (16-12-2), who got a 28-save outing from Spencer Martin.
Manitoba went 2 for 6 on the power play while San Antonio scored once on five chances with the man advantage.
