Mounties say a Winnipeg police officer has been charged with impaired driving.
Oakbank RCMP say an officer saw a man who appeared to be drunk get into a pickup truck in Kilcona Park and drive for a bit before getting out of the vehicle on June 1.
The officer approached the man and determined he was intoxicated, then arrested him.
Darren Murphy, who is 46, of the Rural Municipality of Springfield, has been released from custody pending a court appearance.
