Police say they have found a teenager who was missing from her Winnipeg home after recently immigrating from Ethiopia.
They say Bethlehem Zeleke (zeh-LEE'-kee) Eliso (eh-LEE'-soh) was found safe in the general area where she was last seen Monday.
There had been concern for the 17-year-old who police said was unlikely to be used to temperatures that have dipped to -40 C with the wind chill.
There were no further details available on what happened.
Police had been asking people to search garages and sheds where the girl could have been seeking shelter.
Eliso's father has been in Canada for the last several years, but he was just joined by his wife and children a few weeks ago.
