RCMP have arrested a man in western Manitoba after a video of a puppy being abused was circulated on social media.
Police say the video shows a man throwing a German shepherd in the air and letting it hit the ground.
Officers arrested an 18-year-old man in Easterville.
Community volunteers say the puppy's injuries are still undiagnosed, but it is paralyzed and unable to walk.
The dog was being taken to Winnipeg for emergency veterinary care.
The suspect has not been charged but was being held in custody. (CTV Winnipeg)
