A Winnipeg man is representing himself at his trial on charges of prostitution and child pornography.

Darrell Ackman, who calls himself "MrJetz TV" on YouTube, was arrested and charged in July 2012.

His trial started Monday and the Crown told the jury that Ackman tried to sell underage girls to an undercover officer.

The 45-year-old was charged again after child pornography was found in his home.

The trial is being heard by a jury of three men and nine women and is expected to last until early March.
