Provincial police have released the name of a man charged in the second of two fatal stabbings in Wasaga Beach, Ont., during the Victoria Day long weekend.
OPP say they charged 21-year-old Dillon Childs, of Wasaga Beach, with second-degree murder in the death of Erick Tello-Arias of Caledon, Ont.
Tello-Arias, 23, was killed early in the morning of May 23, near "Skull Island," a pirate-themed mini putt course in the cottage country town.
Investigators have said they are not connecting his death with the fatal stabbing of 18-year-old Francesco Molinaro, also from Caledon, less than a kilometre away on Saturday night.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
